I have been fascinated by arts and crafts for all my life and have dabbled in various hobbies and crafts since I was about 8 years old, including Woodwork, Cross Stitch, Sewing, Latch Hook, Gel Candles, Jewellery making, Beading and Chain Maille.
In late 2010 I was introduced to Resin casting and embedding, which then grew into an interest in Steampunk and a fascination with clockwork.
I love working with recycled materials, and taking old ‘cast offs’ and making them new again. The majority of my Steampunk Inspired Jewellery is made from recycled watch parts that I have picked up at garage sales and op shops. As such, these items are generally one-off creations.
Items listed on my website may also be for sale elsewhere, so if you see something you love, don’t miss your opportunity. Likewise, if you see something that you like but it has sold, or you would like something similar, please don’t hesitate to ask.
More recently I have rekindled my love of stitching and have started creating my own designs for card embroidery (also known as Card Stitching, Pick Points, Punch Card Embroidery etc).
I am always looking for new design ideas, so feel free to put forward suggestions of what you would like me to try next.
